In this small cove, Lloret wished to pay homage to those who emigrated and returned without having accomplished their dreams by placing a plaque on the rocks featuring the following inscription:

“Lloret de Mar gratefully remembers the efforts and good intentions of its children who emigrated to the Americas in search of fortune yet were unlucky in their endeavours. 1778-1978.”
