Turó Rodó
The settlement of Turó Rodó is one of three Iberian archaeological sites that can be found around Lloret de Mar and is the closest to the town centre. This small Iberian settlement is located on a small peninsular promontory measuring 40 metres in height, just behind the iconic D’en Plaja Castle.
Camí de ronda
The best way to take in the essence of Lloret de Mar is to enjoy the many footpaths that trace their way along the coastline or wind their way into the forests, revealing all the secrets of the Mediterranean flora and fauna.
Saint Joan's Castle
Located on top of the mountain that separates the Lloret de Mar and Fenals beaches is an iconic mountain built in the 11th century CE.
Plaja's Castle
While it appears to be an ancient castle, it’s actually a summer home built in 1935 by Girona industry magnate Narcís Plaja and designed by Girona architect Isidor Bosch.
Monument dona Marinera
In 1966, a bronze statue called the Dona Marinera (Fisherman’s Wife) Monument was commissioned. You can admire this beautiful creation at the end of Lloret Beach. A piece by artist Ernest Maragall, its height of 2.4 m leaves a lasting impression.
