The cuisine of the Costa Brava

Lloret de Mar has a wide variety of local, natural dishes on offer served in the town’s restaurants and bars.


There’s so much enjoyable food to choose from: local dishes, fresh market produce, traditional recipes, sophisticated fare and creative, even ingenious edible creations.


On the Costa Brava, an area recognised the world over for its cuisine, the main distinguishing factor is our combination of quality seafood with mountain produce, for example, pollo con cigalas (chicken and lobster).


Of course, each restaurant itself has its own signature dishes, serving fish and shellfish specialties in celebrated combinations such as suquet sauce or black rice, succulent meats and charcuterie and perfect pairings including beef and mushrooms.
