Pero estos no fueron sus primeros turistas: desde los a\u00f1os veinte (e incluso antes), nuestra ciudad hab\u00eda acogido durante los veranos a selectas familias de la sociedad de Barcelona y su entorno, que buscaban en las playas lloretenses un ambiente agradable. Josep Carner, uno de los grandes poetas de Catalu\u00f1a, ya bautiz\u00f3 a nuestra poblaci\u00f3n con el nombre de \u00abpara\u00edso gentil\u00bb en 1919, en la revista D'Ac\u00ed i d'All\u00e0.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nCabe recordar que el nombre de Lloret ya era entonces conocido gracias a la famosa aria Marina, que por entonces era una zarzuela y que dice textualmente \u00abCostas la de Levante, playas la de Lloret\u00bb, estrenada el 21 de septiembre de 1855 en el Teatro del Circo de Madrid. Este afortunado fragmento escrito por el poeta Francesc Camprodon se convirti\u00f3 en el primer eslogan publicitario de Lloret de Mar","columna_dreta":"Al terminar la Guerra Civil Espa\u00f1ola (1936-1939), la burgues\u00eda barcelonesa y de los alrededores volvi\u00f3 a elegir Lloret de Mar como poblaci\u00f3n para sus vacaciones. Con el paso del tiempo, Lloret fue cada vez m\u00e1s reconocida, y su fama trascendi\u00f3 los l\u00edmites fronterizos del Estado Espa\u00f1ol, con lo que empezaron a aparecer las primeras caras extranjeras.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nAs\u00ed pues, durante la d\u00e9cada de 1950, la poblaci\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 a recibir a los primeros visitantes extranjeros. Entre ellos destaca una de las piezas claves de difusi\u00f3n de la ciudad, el doctor odont\u00f3logo alem\u00e1n Ernest Adler, reconocido en toda Europa y establecido en Lloret de Mar, quien comenz\u00f3 a divulgar las excelencias del pueblo entre su clientela centroeuropea.
