Jahrhundert erbaut und im Jahr 1855 von Nicolau Font i Maig, dem Eigent\u00fcmer von Can Font, erworben. Zu dieser Zeit war das Kloster Teil der S\u00e4kularisierung von Madoz und zur Versteigerung ausgeschrieben worden. Obwohl die B\u00fcrger von Lloret de Mar eine \u00f6ffentliche Spendenaktion ins Leben gerufen hatten, um das alte Kloster zu retten, reichte das gesammelte Geld nicht aus.\r\n\r\nAgust\u00ed Font, damaliger B\u00fcrgermeister von Lloret de Mar und Cousin von Nicolau Font, beschloss, eine L\u00f6sung zu finden. Er kontaktierte den in Kuba lebenden, verm\u00f6genden Nicolau. Nachdem Augst\u00ed ihm die Situation geschildert hatte, schickte Nicolau ihm das f\u00fcr den Kauf notwendige Geld zu.
