Public Walk: Beaches of Lloret
On the last Sunday in September the Beaches of Lloret Popular Walk takes place to celebrate World Tourism Day. Visitors and locals can discover and enjoy the town's least known spots on a walk that begins in Cala Canyelles and ends up in Cala Santa Cristina.
The first walk of the season is held on the last Sunday in September. The Beaches of Lloret Public Walk marks World Tourism Day, offering visitors and residents an activity allowing direct contact with nature while introducing people to some parts of our town they almost certainly do not know.
Everyone meets at the main square early in the morning and goes to Cala Canyelles, where the walk starts, by cruiser or coach. The Walk covers approximately 11km from Cala Canyelles to Cala Santa Cristina, almost always beside the sea, with the coast path allowing us to discover unforgettable views from the cliffs on the route. So, living up to its name, the walk passes Cala Trons, Sa Caleta, Platja Gran de Lloret, Fenals and Sa Boadella, to reach Santa Cristina.
On arrival, participants will be rewarded with grilled sardines, local wine and a diploma proving they have taken part in the event.
